In Foes est un trio de rock alternatif émergent formé en 2020 dans la province de Québec au Canada. Initié par le batteur du groupe, Antony Jomphe, le projet voit le jour lors de retrouvailles entre d’anciens compagnons de scène et amis. Antony et les jumeaux Olivier et Carl Ricard reprennent contact pour une séance musicale improvisée qui, poussée par l’enthousiasme excessif et contagieux du drummer, mènera très vite à la formation du band avec Olivier au chant et à la guitare et Carl qui s’improvise alors comme bassiste. Les mois passent et les soirées à « jammer » s’accumulent et bien que la créativité est déjà palpable, ce sera l’étroite collaboration avec David Beaudry, ami et membre associé opérant dans l’ombre au sein du groupe en tant que co-compositeur et arrangeur, qui permettra aux artistes de concrétiser le processus de composition. S’en suit d’un carambolage d’idées et de sonorités variées qui rendront unique chacune des pièces d’In Foes. Ce qui est et sera proposé ici est un alliage entre les genres rock, punk, alternatif, pop en plus d’une touche classique. 

C’est avec fébrilité que In Foes partage enfin son premier single Neon Walk le 12 juillet 2022. Un titre accrocheur bien rock et mélodique gonflé à bloc par une énergie retentissante. Il s’agit de la pièce maitresse de leur EP Fog Overhead paru en septembre 2022 et qui comprend un total de quatre chansons.

In Foes is an emerging alternative rock trio formed in 2020 in the province of Quebec, Canada. Initiated by the band’s drummer, Antony Jomphe, the project was born during a reunion between former bandmates and friends. Antony and the twins Olivier and Carl Ricard got together for an improvised musical session which, driven by the drummer’s excessive and contagious enthusiasm, quickly led to the formation of the band with Olivier on vocals and guitar and Carl who improvises himself as a bass player. Months go by and evenings of jamming multiply and although the creativity is already palpable, it will be the close collaboration with David Beaudry, friend and associate member operating in the shadows within the group as co-composer and arranger, which will allow the artists to concretize the composition process. What follows is a collision of ideas and varied sounds that will make each track of In Foes unique. What is and will be proposed here is a combination of rock, punk, alternative, pop and a classical touch.

It is with excitement that In Foes finally shares its first single Neon Walk on July 12th 2022. A catchy, rocking and melodic track pumped up with a resounding energy. It is the centerpiece of their Fog Overhead EP released in September 2022 which includes a total of four songs.
